There are many ways on how to download YouTube videos, but for me, I always use Keepvid.com because I can choose what video format I want to download. 

I wrote this so those who want to download the SDA Hymns with Lyrics and Accompaniment that I have uploaded to YouTube.

How to retrieve deleted, formatted files from computer, USB, memory card, etc. for free

Is it still possible to retrieve deleted files from your computer and other storage? Absolutely yes! But before I tell you how, let me first share my experience which led me to discover this amazing file retriever that helped me recover my important documents and videos.

Just yesterday, all of my important files stored in Local Disk (D) of my NEO notebook were totally gone.  I was about to copy all of them to my USB then transfer them to my desktop when I decided to format my USB first since I thought something was wrong with it. Unfortunately, the one I formatted was disk D since it was just on top of my USB name under the section "computer." When I opened disk D, it was already empty. I went to the Recycled Bin but nothing was there. I was so depressed for all I thought my files could never be retrieved.

The files that really mattered the most to me were the videos of my daughter from the time she was born up to now. I felt so hopeless then for all I knew was it would be impossible to retrieve deleted or formatted files.

I started searching for solutions over the Internet, then I found a couple of recovery tools which really worked well. I really saw all of my lost files appear one by one. I felt so happy to have almost recovered them. Unfortunately, these tools asked me to update something with quite a huge amount to pay before my lost files could completely be transferred to my computer. I thought I would never pay anything since it was "FREE!" LOL

Then I came across another retriever named RECUVA. I downloaded it and the installation was really fast. It also worked well, though it gives you quite a lot of things to do since the retrieved files are not in their usual folders anymore. Anyway, what I like about it is it's for FREE! Yes, you need not to worry about any payment and you can have your files back in a while. Try it. http://www.piriform.com/recuva.

How to upload PowerPoint Presentations to Windows Movie Maker? Obviously, you cannot since Windows Movie Maker only uploads videos and photos. But don't lose hope. After a thorough research from different articles online, I found out it can be done! Here's how.

After your PowerPoint presentation is done, click "FILE" on the upper left portion of your screen, then go to "SAVE AS." 

Click the "Save as type" below the "File name." Next, look for the "JPEG FILE INTERCHANGE FORMAT,

then click "SAVE." 

Next, just click "Every Slide

then "OK!" That's it!

Now, find where your new photos are saved. Open Windows Movie Maker, then import your PowerPoint Presentation in JPEG Format.

Arwind Santos should have been a part of Smart Gilas Pilipinas!

Arwind Santos, the long-limbed stalwart of the Petron Blaze Boosters, should have been included in the lineup of the Smart Gilas Pilipinas which will represent the country in the FIBA Asia Championships this coming August 1-11. (Just a humble opinion from a big fan of Philippine basketball)

Just last night during the All-Star match between the Smart Gilas Pilipinas national team and the PBA selections in Digos, Davao del Sur, Arwind Santos once more proved his worth after scoring 27 points to lead all scorers and also emerging as co-MVP (with Jeff Chan). That award could have been his alone if not for that huge trey by Jeff which evened the game at 124.

As a fan of basketball, I know Arwind Santos would be of big help for the national team. But I know there were many reasons behind that hindered him from playing for the country. He was actually one of the players being eyed by Gilas coach Chot Reyes and Arwind did showed his eagerness to help the Philippines regain its claim of basketball supremacy in Asia.

After the 17-man lineup was announced, Arwind's name was not mentioned. But that was not the end  of all hopes for some fans to see Arwind Santos play for the Philippines. Just a month or two ago, forward Kelly Williams was erased from the list due to health problems. Because of that, the name of Arwind Santos joining the national team again echoed everywhere. But Chot Reyes turned all hopes down by saying it would be unfair for the other players who already started practicing if he would insert Arwind Santos as a replacement for Kelly.

Arwind's ability to defend even taller players with his leaping and shot blocking abilities will be of big help for Smart Gilas Pilipinas. He could have been a part of the team if not because of ... .

Anyway, there are still "next times." But I say, Arwind Santos is a big loss for Smart Gilas!

Some and Any are quantifiers that can both be used before countable and uncountable nouns.

But we only use some in affirmative sentences.

There are some empty bottles in the backyard.

(not any empty bottles)

Let's play some games first before going home.

(not any games) 

However, we use any, not some, in negative sentences.

I don't have any money left in my wallet.

(not some money)

There isn't any bread on the table.

(not some bread) 

In questions, we mostly use any.

Do you have any glue?

Will you bring any food tomorrow?

But if a question expresses offers and requests, we use some, not any.

Can I have some tea?

Would you like some vanilla ice cream?

How to identify the subject of a sentence

How are we going to identify the subject of a sentence? A subject can be defined in two ways.

First, the subject of the sentence is the doer of the action. So you can easily identify the subject by asking the question "Who is the doer of the action?"

In this sentence, My father fixes his car, the action here is fixes and the one who does it is my father. Therefore, my father is the subject of that sentence.

Now, what if there's no action indicated in the sentence? How then are you going to know its subject?

A subject can also be defined as the main idea of a sentence. So if there's no action involved, simply ask yourself "What is the main idea of this sentence?" Your answer to this question is the subject.

Mathematics is quite hard. What is the main idea of this sentence? Obviously, the sentence is talking about Mathematics. Therefore, it is the subject of this sentence.

How do you pronounce LETTUCE?

Lettuce! Lettuce! Who doesn't like lettuce? 

This green leafy vegetable is eaten raw and is also used in salads.

Many love to eat lettuce, but sad to say, only few know how to pronounce it correctly.

Here in the Philippines, many don't know the correct pronunciation of the word lettuce. You can usually hear them call it "LETYUS" or "LETUS," which is wrong. 

So how should you read the word? Both Americans and British read it as "LETIS."
